Sweet Bonanza · An Australian English escape
One small hop. A new horizon.
Drift into a Sweet Bonanza lagoon of lollipop islands and marshmallow bridges. Find a landing, cross a neighbour and leave a little more space.

Twenty sweets around an open centre
The lagoon board begins with a single empty landing. A legal hop takes one sweet over an adjacent sweet into that empty space. The crossed neighbour disappears, changing the shoreline for your next move.
1 open centre
Start. Neighbour. Landing.
Sugar lilies mark the landing
Start, middle and destination form one straight line. Horizontal and vertical crossings are allowed; diagonal shortcuts are not. The empty destination lies two board positions from the sweet you choose.
Select a starting lollipop
Choose an occupied position. Its selected state marks the piece you plan to move; selecting it again cancels.
Find an empty destination
Look two spaces away on the same row or column. The square between must contain another sweet.
Make the crossing
Activate the empty landing. Your sweet moves there, the crossed sweet is removed, and the start becomes empty.
Explore a different shore
Undo hop can restore earlier boards. Reset lagoon puts twenty sweets back around the centre, ready for another path.

Lollipop Crossing

A bridge you can cross back
Undo hop restores an earlier arrangement, including the removed sweet. You can revisit several moves and try another route. If no legal hops remain, the board reports the number of sweets left rather than pretending the puzzle is solved.
Read the blueberry path backwards
Before moving, look for the landing you would like to create next. A hop empties its starting point as well as removing the middle sweet. Those two new spaces can matter more than where the moving piece finishes.

Every crossing leaves one fewer sweet.
The moving lollipop survives its hop. The neighbour it crosses is removed, while the starting position becomes an empty landing for a possible later move. Follow these changes one at a time.

A pause can be part of the route.
You do not need to solve the lagoon on your first visit. Explore a few reversible crossings, notice a new pattern and leave the next idea for later.
Why this lagoon moves slowlyA few useful answers
Lollipop Crossing, explained.
Why can I not hop diagonally?
The crossing rule uses rows and columns only. Start, middle and landing must align along one of them.
What if the board has no more hops?
The message reports how many sweets remain. Use undo to branch from an earlier position or reset the lagoon.
Does selecting a sweet move it immediately?
No. A move happens only after you choose a legal empty landing.

A picnic beside the quiet cove
One remaining lollipop is the goal, but each considered hop can be enough for a break. The lagoon keeps no timer or public record. Close the page whenever the view has done its work.
